The CAMP Project partners organized their first transnational meeting in the city of Granada, Spain, marking a significant milestone in their collaborative journey to enhance the transition of VET learners from education to the international labour market. Hosted by Agrupación De Profesionales Para El Desarrollo Internacional (APDI Group), the meeting took place in April 2025 and brought together representatives from all partner organisations across Europe.

During the productive two-day session, consortium members reviewed the project’s initial activities, discussed the progress of employer surveys, and outlined the upcoming phases of research and content development. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for partners to exchange insights on regional labour market trends, share best practices, and align their strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs.

A key focus was placed on the development of the International Work Etiquette Manual and the European Standard Traineeship Programme. Partners explored how to effectively incorporate green job skills, EU values, and cross-cultural competences into training materials, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of learners and employers in today’s multicultural work environments.

The meeting also set clear timelines for the creation of country-specific reports based on employer feedback, which will form the foundation for tailored recommendations to support students entering the workforce. Partners are committed to close cooperation and quality assurance throughout the project’s life cycle to maximize impact.

Beyond formal discussions, the partners engaged in cultural exchange activities that strengthened collaboration and mutual understanding, an essential element for a project centered on international mobility and intercultural competence.

This first meeting in Granada reinforced the consortium’s shared commitment to empowering young learners with the skills and knowledge necessary for successful career paths across Europe. The partners look forward to continued collaboration and upcoming project milestones.
